Poland - Warsaw

The Commission Palace ro more formally Palace of the Ministry of Revenues and Treasury (bottom) was built in 1825. It has an elaborate Corinthian terrace and a statue of Juliusz Słowacki, the well known Polish Poet, in the courtyard. It replaces the 14 ton statue of the founder of the Soviet secret police which was pulled down in 1991.
